The new update is (theoretically) good, but it doesn't work. If you do the puzzles, for instance, the app won't go back to the puzzle homepage most of the time. If it does, it takes ages. I just finished a puzzle, tapped the button to go back, and it finally did something on the third attempt, then froze for ten minutes. I closed the app.

Until recently, very good. Starting yesterday, the Coffee Break section (puzzles, quizzes, etc) has had a revamp and no longer works at all. I have emailed them....no reply as yet. Will cancel my subscription if they don't sort it out soon. UPDATE 30 June 2022: They sorted the app and it worked well until the latest update...the one where they are trying to merge it with Mail Online. Now it just hangs for a few seconds before force-closing, rendering the whole app useless. Meddlers!

So easy to use and seeing as I am disabled it allows me to read the Mail every day as there are no delivery services in our town. I did try buying from a London company online but they were so unreliable it was hard to believe, half the time they would send me a red top rag. However with the app it is fantastic and because I would have great difficulty holding the whole paper reading the app on my phone is so easy.

New Mail app is so poor compared to the old one. It's slower now and is less readable with strange margins. My biggest gripe is that the puzzles are no longer accessible in anything other that the current day's paper. They move into the archive as soon as the next edition launches. Not great for me as I do the puzzles just before I go to sleep. I can see no reason to continue my subscription really.

Don't find it easy to use. If interrupted while reading, going back takes me to front page, not where I left off. Main problem is in Puzzles. Cannot find the bridge problem, how to pick favourite puzzles or how to display puzzles in the old format. Eg on my phone in Pitcherwits if the picture is displayed it covers the bottom of the screen and you can't see the letters already in. I can't see how you can display all the clues at the same time. I hate it. Can I revert to the old version please

You have updated it and it's awful! Quick Crossword not big enough on Samsung tablet! The update is no improvement at all! Reading the reviews it seems most people feel the same! Reading on a phone is even worse - do you never try things out when you change them? Have you taken on a new apprentice? Hope Daily Mail you take notice!!!! Will be looking for another newspaper app to use if things don't change!

Dreadful. App had deleted from all my appliances one morning. Since ed again it takes ages to load. Cannot rotate screen even though settings are enabled. Puzzles take forever to load. Absolute rubbish. Having read latest reviews I agree with them all There was nothing wrong with the old app Redress or you will be losing a lot of loyal readers

The new app Mail+ has all the pages from a paper version so is an improvement in of content over the old version. The trouble is that the tablet version for Android is unstable, takes an age to the latest issue and is a nightmare to navigate compared with the old version. In of navigation the Android phone version is fine but still suffers from stability and speed. I'd happily revert to the old version if it was available.
