Honestly, worth the if you like Plague Inc-style games! If you don't, then this isn't the game for you. While the core gameplay is very repetitive after an hour or two (which is a general problem with this genre imo), the traits feel pretty balanced and there are a lot of combos to make your religion the HBIC. The art is great, the writing has a dark undertone that makes it interesting just to read trait descriptions, and the UI is easy enough to navigate.

It's nice for before bed, but it's almost too easy since you can choose upgrades randomly and still win. There is no real rhyme or reason for why things happen. I’ve converted a neighboring country that is military based when all my upgrades are set to be peace related, even before my peaceful neighbors ed. I give 3 stars for the concept. I might try to discover more of the secrets. However, it's so hard to read anything and compare upgrades it's difficult to look for the secret combos.

Its like a 5 minute game on easy mode and on hard mode it feels impossible. Its 1 star because its currently priced at $9.99 and I would feel terrible if someone paid that for this game. I tried it for free with the play and its not very good, it honestly felt boring. Maybe if it was priced at like $3 I would say its ok but nothing special. I dont like the map or the system to show you your followers. It doesnt feel smooth either, it was like 80 years into hard mode with 20 followers.

Plague Inc but with religion. Love it. Only thing I would tweak is the color system on the skill tree. It can be very difficult to distinguish which skills you have purchased and which are for sale still, leading you to sometimes accidentally lose one that you spent a bunch of points on, or accidentally buy one that you were not intending to. Other than that, loads of fun, looking forward to future updates :-)

Would have loved to try it but when I launch it, it's in Russian. No problem, I think, and go into settings and change it to English. Works fine, but now I can't close the settings screen. Back button does nothing, all I can really do is close it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same issues each time. Would love a refund at this point.

Tutorial freezes at one point so I had to turn it off and then put tutorial mode back on again, and by then I think i missed an important step. Since I paid for it I wasn't expecting a lot of sitting and waiting for things to happen but instead a lot more action, but there was still quite a bit of sitting and waiting for my religion to spread and collect coins, almost as if this were a freemium game.

Super simplistic with little replay value and virtually no challenge at any level. The only way I could lose is intentionally. The different factions play incredibly similarly. Might be a fun game for kids, but then the concepts that make it interesting in the first place are liable to go over their heads.

Fun little game, good for if you have a bit of time to kill. Some issues: Small but frustrating, playing without events sometimes causes you to be unable to spread to other continents because boats don't spawn. Generic events for all religions gets stale, so would be nice to have randomized events specific to each religion. The secret events pop-ups sometimes pop up multiple times.
