Claims it's lost connection or buffers every few minutes especially with capital radio,strange other apps like BBC sounds seems to not have this issue and I'm using the same internet,in the same location etc!! Update - no I don't want to talk to you, just fix your app so radio doesn't buffer/stop every few minutes it's been months/years with this issue come on fix it already!!!

I am forced to edit my review from 2 to 1, this app constantly crashes to the point of being unusable. Dear Global Management team, if you are reading this will you please do yourselves a favour and start from scrtch with a different app development team so you have an app which reflects the quality of your radio stations. I don't have any of these issues with BBC Sounds or YouTube.

I really really want this app to work. It's the only proper alternative to the Absolute Radio app but it constantly crashes to the point where it's unlistenable. I can see that for every review that says this (and there are a LOT) the reply is to email in but they can see there are issues so not sure why they're not fixing it

Increasingly unstable. The app closes for no reason at least once a day, live radio video broadcasts crash through transmission. Podcasts will suddenly lose all sound. Considering the size of the organisation and how long people have had these issues, I am surprised it's still not improving. On radio broadcasts with full video (I.e Moyles birthday show) it was impossible to watch as the video crashed every few minutes.

Global Player was already bad, constantly crashing, unable to skip back or ahead again during live broadcast, but the latest update has completely shot the app to bits, it will not load, I get 30 second snippets of radio then nothing again for minutes, alreadt un- and re-installed the app, nothing. Also won't work on the laptop either. Worst radio app ever!

I used to have constant buffering problems but the ways out of it are to listen to the radio live, & to the podcasts before I listen to them instead of just clicking play as it would constantly buffer for ages, forcing me to restart app & clear cache. I don't pause the radio if listening live because it'll be great but a few times in a 3 hour show it'll glitch and buffer. It generally sorts itself out but I just do the first 2 things I mentioned instead. It really does work 😊

I thought the English were supposed to be clever! whoever updates and maintains this app doesn't do a very good job I'm afraid. in the last update playback stops when the screen off the phone turns off. The android wear app has lost the function to skip 30 seconds. sometimes the notification controls don't appear. There's so many basic functions that used to work fine and now they don't! After updating the app, TEST IT FIRST BEFORE ROLLING IT OUT TO THE PUBLIC. Thanks

I am still having this problem. I have cleared my cache & reinstalled, but thebissue remains. Cuts out 30 secs after screen blanks. I used to love this app, in fact I'd go as far to say it was my favourite audio app. However, recently it cuts out about 30secs after the screen cuts out or when it's in the background. It is so frustrating.
