Very stable app.....no bugs that I could find. In the olden days all we had was a number of NOAA charts, a com, parallel rules, dividers, and pelorus. Boat speed was trial and timing based on RPMs of engine. Oh, binoculars and a depth sounder completed the tool box. Seems life is easier today, but maybe less challenging. In any case take some boating classes from power squadron or coast guard auxiliary.

Works like any good chart plotter. Easy to use. Haven't used on the water but should be a good backup. Update: 7/31/21. Deleted awhile back because of memory. Reinstalled. Still the best free gps I've used. Very accurate and informative. Almost to much info. in places, just zoom out to separate icons. Will keep as a backup and to plot next day trips.

This is a really good, really simple app that shows you the exact same charts your tax dollars paid for and that a lot of apps and sharp plotters like to charge you hundreds of dollars for for no reason. Trouble is it doesn't seem like you can the maps ahead of time which could get dicey, and is what stops me from using this as a complete replacement for something like OpenN which does charts, although extremely clunky in everything else it does. I'd pay for that

Go back to where you actually work app is very accurate and easy-to-use. It would be nice if you could create multiple and accurate routes. One small annoyance is that if you're trying to plan something far away from where you're at it will take you back to your location and you have to scroll back down to whatever Waterway you wish to visit next. Again that is a very small annoyance for a free app that does so many things well

Really happy with this nav tool so far. It is great for running a small boat. I ran night ops on a pontoon last night on the Willamette River between Portland and Oregon City - a dark, winding section of the river which has deceptive shadows in low moon light. And it changes at night - wind drops and the surfaces turns to glass... Nothing to read on the water. But no problem as I plotted my course with the way point feature and had Marine Ways running! An App I've been waiting for! Well done!

The program seems nice. The weather overlay takes a while to load on my phone, but it works well. I do not see that I am able to load maps offline, so at this point, I would not be able to trust it for use at sea. Also, I do not see anywhere to bookmark locations. It's a great start for a navigation program if those two features could be developed.

This app saved my butt!! I was trying to make it into a narrow channel late at night with no moon. Couldn't see any land. The app helped me find channel bouys and the gps told me exactly where I was in relation to everything. The heading and speed information is also very helpful. I seem to it having a waypoint function but I haven't figured out how to make it dynamically change based on where exactly I am. It may not be a feature and it would be nice

Being a first time live-aboard sailboater, this app recommended by friends already using it, is a must have important for any Sailor. We use it to navigate, find depths, obstructions in the water like shipwrecks and rocks and of course the weather. Update: Sept 6th, 2021 Having used this App most exclusively for almost a year, I have nothing but good things to say about it. The fact I can monitor the depth of my surroundings. I have seen too many inexperienced boaters end up stuck on shore.
