No app is less functional or more frustrating than this one! For weeks, I couldn't link my TV provider to access locked content. When that finally started working, I received a success message, but then continously received a message that the network is not a part of my TV package. I can watch the channel from my TV. Emailing tech has proved useless in the past (for issues not being able to cast to my TV)....I would expect anything associated with Oprah to be excellent, but it's not.

Fix your app! It's getting worse. If I'm casting to my tv. I can't even fast forward or rewind without the app malfunctioning and starting the show from the beginning. I'll let the commercials play on the phone when the show begins but once I cast it to the tv it'll play awhole new set of commercials(3:00 minutes). I font the app being so commercial heavy. It's not worth watching multiple shows. It takes just a long as watching on traditional cable so there is no benefit to the app.

Having to sign in every few days or so is very annoying!! I shouldn't have to constantly link my TV provider. It's one thing if its every other month, but a few times a week is ridiculous!!!! I also don't like not being able to minimize the screen while it's playing. I am able to do that with other apps, so this needs that update

Too many commercials. I'm already paying for the channel though my cable provider. I feel like the commercials belong on TV. The commercial breaks are way too long. Some are 3 minutes. On the OWN channel on YouTube, a full episode is roughly 40 minutes. Is there a different app I don't know about that belongs to OWN? I didn't think "get the app to watch full episodes" included the commercials.

The app updates have been a great improvement. I really feel like my suggestions were received and implemented. I stopped using the app 6 months ago because it was a headache to use and was constantly getting stuck and the shows were blurry. When I returned I saw the app was very friendly, the shows are clearer, the audio is better, casting is great. You can now rewind & fast forward 10 sec or more and the app picks up where you left off if you don't finish a show. I'm happy to be back!

Update 5*14*23. Still the same issue. It just stops working in the middle of an episode and says try again later. They still haven't fixed it. Never works! It continuously says video can not be played restart app. This is the worse app out of all of the discovery plus brand. Every single discovery app does this. It's trash. I rather quit being a watcher of the shows if this does not get fixed.

I'm editing my review....All shows are locked and under the category of unlocked shows, there's a locked show. I cant watch live tv anymore, error message says my cable doesn't or something and i have Spectrum. I was loving the OWN app but not anymore. I can't even watch episodes that's already aired. 0 stars but have to give 1. I've deleted the app, it was just taking up space on my phone, I cant watch anything. I didn't mind the 13 commercials in between even though that's too many.

COMMERCIALS COMMERCIALS COMMERCIALS!!! I thought having the app you wouldn't have to watch soooo many commercials 3 mins worth regardless if its rewinding pausing or fast forwarding it goes straight to another 3 minute commercial! I use to love this app now I would rather wait and watch my recordings at home. Also where is the beginning seasons of Have and haves not!? I refuse to start on season 5 and be too confused!! Please fix these problems and I will be glad to give 5 stars! Until then 1⭐
