I think it lacks allot of basic features that really should be in the app. Here's a couple of them. -Shows potential settings of router that shows vulnerabilities, such as remote access wifi. - Shows server logs ( and for non nerds explains what they do ) - Shows SSH settings and is detailed about potential threats. Overall the app is great at what features it has (simplistic and phenomenal UI), but is arguably also oversimplistic and lacks features that are essential for security.

What I really don't understand is why most of the interface design developers suddenly change the entire app appearance which the already established a logical a communication with it, on top of this the recently updated app seem to be leaning towards marketing and departing from its main task which is functionality. Its also frustrating to work with and I probably look for another app to monitor my network.

Without a doubt very incorrect on wifi speed test and can say this with absolute confidence after using 3 different expensive very sensitive and strong commercials wifi scanning tools that are very similar if not the very same broadband/fiber optic internet equipment used with places like Comcast, Time Warner and AT&T in fact every readout I've gotten from this app was not even close to accurate and when I go to a well-known dead spot of the house i get a false ping where there isn't any lol

Literally only useful thing seems to be the interference checker. I don't need to ping anything, I know when I have internet or not. Everything else you can already do without this app. My Tp-link router can already check the network for problems. I was hoping the port checker was useful, but it's not. It shows just 3 basic ports. The ones I opened myself, which I verified are indeed open, are not seen by the app. It seems just completely useless. It has all permissions. (except camera cuz why?)

Lacks the ability to see the signal strength of detected devices. If this was present, then it would be possible to FIND them physically.

All of these features were included with my AS 75 when I first bought it. They were all removed without any notification from TP Link. Now, they come up with a stand-alone app with all of the features that were removed! One big difference is this "new" app speed test is not accurate to the speed test I have been using! I use the Xfinity speed test!

Port scanner counts open ports, but cannot list them all. Just shows about 4 or 5 then you have to imagine the rest.
