Public beta of the new Zoiper SIP & IAX2 softphone for Android.

No and developers don't know or care what they are doing. It s to the PBX and I can assign different ringtones to each registration. That's about it. Sadly, this app is a prefect example of inexperienced amateurs or a company that simply couldn't care less about what they put out. 1. Zoiper will not ring priority callers when the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode. This is an expected behavior - one which every native dialer properly does. 2. Huge waste of screen real-estate that could be used to provide easily touchable function buttons instead of the tiny ones at the top of the screen. 3. No floating icon for active calls!! Seriously!! Do you know how next to impossible it is to get back to a call once I've moved on to the home screen or worse - the phone decides to sleep?? While I'm driving!! It is utterly RIDICULOUS that you don't have a floating icon on the screen in order to get back to an active call like every other modern, well thought out communications app does??? 4. The tiny hold button on the top of the screen changes to an add call button after it is pressed!! If I want to put a call on hold and then take it back off hold WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE SCREEN I can't!!! Do you people actually use your app?!? Have you ever tried to deal with it when DRIVING?!?! You have this HUGE EXPANSE OF UNUSED SCREEN during a call and you place little tiny buttons at the top THAT MOVE AROUND?!?!? 4. During a call, my cell phone rings - the native dialer now takes up the screen. When I answer the cell phone - my Zoiper call should have been put on hold - AUTOMATICALLY!!! But NO that didn't happen! Instead it hid itself making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to put my Zoiper call on hold, while driving in order that the other person didn't hear my private cellphone call!! Yes, they did hear my side of the cellphone call which I would REALLY preferred that they hadn't!!! Once the cell phone call was over, Zoiper decided to transition from my bluetooth system to the handset earpiece!! Are you kidding me?!?! Now, while driving I had to figure out how to get back to my Zoiper call without killing myself or someone else. I finally figured it out and what do I see? Zoiper thinks it is still on bluetooth! So - I selected speaker mode and then back to bluetooth and my still active call with a very patient person listening to me waited until I could hear them - but wait - when Zoiper transitioned back to my bluetooth system it cut the volume in half so I could barely hear the caller. Now, I need to adjust the volume now on my bluetooth system. Finally after jacking the bluetooth volume almost to the max I could hear my caller again!! 5. During a Zoiper call I have to jack the volume on my bluetooth system almost to the max - double what is needed for a native cell phone call. If I happen to touch the volume key on the phone (up or down) Zoiper cuts the volume in HALF instantly and I again have to jack the volume on the bluetooth system practically to the maximum. 6. If my phone is playing music to the in car bluetooth system and Zoiper rings - the music gets paused as it should - something that actually works. But of course - not properly. If I transition the Zoiper call from Bluetooth to earpiece or speaker and then back to bluetooth - the music keeps playing in the background and I have to find and pause it manually. 7. Zoiper cannot deal with a VPN connection on the phone! If I activate a VPN connection to my office I cannot make or receive any Zoiper calls. Well actually it seems I can place calls - just that nobody can hear me and I cannot hear them so obviously they're getting the media path wrong!! After not using Zoiper for 3+ years i decided to try it again. I am now running it on an LG V40 (Android 10) and overall it s to the PBX but that is about the extent of it. Here we are 3+ years later, I have a darn near state of the art phone and Android 10 and while Zoiper kinda works with bluetooth it is still seriously SCREWED UP!! And now it has even more problems than it used to have!!

I was told to install this beta due to app Just won't stay connected. I have 2 sip s and zoiper will continuously disconnect them and it will be stuck saying "ing". This happens on a daily basis. Spent months and months getting nowhere with sending these same info in over and over again. Same issues with beta. This app use completely unreliable.

Video and other gold features are no longer enabled for testing. Software can contain bugs. However, I have not encountered significant issues or a vast amount of bugs. Dialing pad has small issues on tablets. Landscape mode is forced during calling and dial pad is not coordinated with buttons when landscape mode is enabled. I have not found a way of disabling landscape mode.

After uninstalling & reinstalling ZoiperBeta, I got rid of this app's startup crash. I've given up on the idea of making an outgoing call by voice control via my bluetooth Motorola TX500 -- I assume it's just not possible with my Android 7 Asus Zenfone. (It was previously possible with my Asus Zenfone when Android 6 permitted Zoiper to have dialer integration.)

Used this app years ago with a galaxy s8 got a Galaxy s10 and the incoming caller font doesn't show on the screen properly. Switched to grandstream wave and recently decided to try zoiper again and same problem. Cannot see the caller ID phone number as it goes off of the screen. This is unfortunate as it's a great app otherwise.

Couldn't get Zoiper to work at all but Zoiper Beta does a bit better, it says it is ed and Ready, just won't make calls and gets some sort of error resolving DNS but it's flashed on the screen too fast to read. You'd think they could be bothered to test this stuff before releasing it to see if it works at all!

The zoiper app has worked because I try to call people continously and I do everyday. In my opinion, its hinders my ability to hear clients clearly, to think that clients complain about not hearing anything when I am suppose to be engaging with them. Yes, the company I work for relies upon zoiper for now, but I can't say the same for in the long run. Please, be aware that their are alternatives, and once a company can afford to choose another service provider, they will. Rectify technicalities!

After a recent update, this app was using phone microphone in background.. That's why my other app couldn't use microphone. Disabling microphone access for zoiper app problem was solved. I just uninstalled the zoiper.
