Klapp allows the transmission of messages and files in private messages or as a chat. Looks like you broke the app with your recent update! keeps hanging. even after an uninstall/ new install it hangs when trying to . Furthermore notifications do not work properly (although all permissions for notifications are given to the App). This problem isn't new as I can see from other customers .

I think it is a useful apps for communication between teacher and parents. Unfortunately, the notification is not always working. I checked the setting to ensure my phone allows notification from the app. Somehow I don't always get the notification of new message.

I find the app too intrusive, it requires providing personal information, requests to run in the background, send push notifications.... The fact that we are requested by a public school to install an app on our personal phones with all those permissions, just so that the school communicates with us, is ludicrous. The indication that this is now going to be the only communication method, is even more ludicrous. What's wrong with email?

Wanted to give back 5 stars after some time but now I have to change my mind again. For one simple reason: When communicating with school employees, you can't include second parent in the list of recipients. So my wife can't include me and vice-versa.

Great app so far. Very stable and functions without issue. I would suggest adding the functionality of being able to CC when writing a new message.
